    Default So I bought my fourth Miata, 02 Vivid Yellow

    I went down to Austin and bought Kags1969's 02 Vivid Yellow. It has 74k miles, 5 speed, non ABS. Car is in good shape, it is nice to finally drive a miata with cold A/C again.

    My ears bleed on the drive back, the exhaust is LOUD! The car has a summit high flow cat, with a Roadstersport Race 2.5 exhaust. What can I do to quiet it down?
    Would replace the small muffler with a bigger one helps?

    The car will remain as a street car with some light autox duty for now. Here's some pictures I took with my phone.

    I think that is Jon Etkins' old car. That car has been driven well, and fast!

    Thanks for all the compliments guys! I am enjoying the extra high rpm power and the Lexus like suspension.

    Still debating if I should keep tracking the 94 or make this 02 to be more track ready.

    Kags1969, it was a pleasure to purchase the car from you. I hope you find the replacement soon!
