I'll be at Pennington as well... I need to come up with a really s****y work assignment for the whiners that show up...
Well, it's time to come out and play with 200 of your closest friends again!
To be honest with you, I'd probably rather be playing with the Maverick Region PCA at the Bus Lot at TMS for their pre-Parade autocross this Sunday, but I'll be at Pennington instead, failing cars for Tech.
It even looks like I might actually have legal tires from Tire Rack in time to go play this weekend.
Who else is going racing this weekend, and where?

I'll probably be at the PCA autox this Sunday instead of SCCA... anyone else going to the PCA autox?
I'm in for the PCA event. Hopefully, the SCCA will pull away folks from the PCA race.
When you PCA players get done, swing on by Pennington on your way home and let us know how it was... I'm sure we'll still be there. :P

My only defense is that I don't have a choice. You hosers that are playing at PCA and having all the fun are going to get "Toilet paper dispenser" as your work assignment next time you show up at SCCA... That's if altiain lets your car through tech...
I wish I could go to either but I'll be doing a water pump fix it on my VW.... you lucky bastards!

There is no defense for SCCA. Go to the PCA event.Originally Posted by rx7gslse
My reasons for going to SCCA have to do with (1) not wanting to run top-up (you have to run top-up at PCA events if you don't have a rollbar), (2) some silly idea that I might be able to win a year-end trophy in SCCA (not much of a chance there ), and (3) some apparent machocistic tendancies I have with regards to standing around in the hot sun and watching junior kart drivers take 13.456 days to negotiate the course .
PCA events are undoubtedly much more fun, and as I've said before, I'll probably be re-thinking my commitment to SCCA Solo II next year. I'm guessing I'll run:
- - ER (for punishment and a chance at a year-end trophy)
- S2000 (because they put on excellent events)
- PCA once I bolt on that hideous roll thingy .
SCCA? Well, unless things change such that I don't have to spend all day standing in a parking lot for my three or four 30 to 40 second runs, I'll be "giving them a miss" next year (I'm sure they'll cry rivers of tears...). And if they piss me about this coming weekend (they still haven't cashed my "pre-pay for the season" check ), I might give them a miss this year.
