Solo Nationals - Help!

I'm going to try and get to nationals this year...and potentially the Pro Finale if I can get in. If I end up going, I'm going to have to fly up on the last flight on Friday and I'll need my car to get up to Lincoln somehow.

So...

1. is anyone going to nats who can tow/drive my car?
2. Anyone have experience shipping cars?
3. Would anyone who is going to Nats consider renting out a hauler for a lower price?

Kerry and I are in for shipping the car to the finale. That makes 2 cars for a transport.

I know a group from Cali sends their cars out every year. So this is nothing crazy. And with enough people becomes very economic.

Just a first hand FYI - The Quotes you get on this website don't match pricing when you go to book the truck...

One was 2x the website price. I even called back to see if I was getting slid and the price stayed the same.

The 2nd one was about $200 higher than the website quote.

Also got "The number you have reached message", but I'm sure they will call back thou.....

Going to call some more of them this afternoon, but you may not want to budget your transportation costs on the automated quotes from the website.

I've decided that I'm just going to drive up on Sunday and miss out on the Finale. Total bummer but I just don't think its in the cards.
