I finally got the center crank bolt off after fabing a "tool". Thanks for the great ideas, guys.
I decided to change the front main seal while doing the head/timing belt/hoses/belts, etc. I got the seal out without damaging anything, but I am having trouble getting the new one in. Does anyone have any ideas on this one? I looked around the house and in the shed, but I cannot find anything that I can use to drive it in.

That would work great if I had the crank out too. I have a socket that would work, but the nose of the crank is too long for them to drive the seal in.
One of my neighbors just came by and had a socket that worked.
Neighbors are good for something other than target practice after all.
YAY!
Gotta love neighbors (at least the good ones!)
I use some huge sockets that remove shower faucet handles... work great and are about 5 to 6 inches deep.

Lightness? What's that? I drive a PRHT!
Exactly what we used.Originally Posted by channelmaniac
I ended up working on it until about 2:00 in the morning and the only thing left is the header, intake tube, and plug wires!
I won't be able to work on it again though until at least Sunday night.
