Default 400+ hp miata for sale

Hello Everyone. I am regretfully selling my fully built custom turbo 450 hp Miata with only 1500 (thats right only fifteen hundred miles) New motor, turbo kit, suspension, and brakes. I have just ran into some financial problems and have to get rid of it. If it doesnt sell whole, then I am willing to part it out. Here are some pics. I will throw up a mod list later this evening.

There was a thread about it on the pointy board that mentioned $35k. It is a lot will be very hard to get, but I am sure he has a lot more than that into it. The new built long block alone likely cost him around $7500, it has a $3500 Motec, and a list of about a hundred other top price mods.

I think that it might be very difficult to get the 35k for it so I am asking 25k firm. Thats just as little as I can take for it. I have about 60k in the car. The FM Long block was 9400 alone. turbo kit was about 8000. EMS with wiring harness was about 4800. I think that 25k is a steal for a miata of this caliber.

Good Luck with that. My experience is you never get any where near what you put into it. Maybe you'll find a buyer that could justify it though.

Even if you do find a willing buyer, the other issue is not to many people have $25k lying around and no bank will lend you anywhere near that on a 99-00 Miata.

Nice car and I appreciate your effort but I think you're in for a reality check.

Man, sorry to see you let go of this car. Stick to your guns. This car is worth way more than 25k to a lot of people. It's just perfect and it doesn't look like you cut any corners in building it.

I'd hate to see you part out the car, so good luck with the sale.

Not many people are in the market for a 400+hp Miata either, but the few that are would LOVE to find a deal like this and, knowing the build costs, will not balk at the asking price. The seller is already prepared to face the music, why take swipes at him?

BoostedNB, good luck. I think the buyer, once you find them, will be very happy with that car.

Thanks for posting the parts list Titus. I was trying to get around to that. The car makes 315 on 12 pounds on pump gas with tons of timing removed. it is extremely conservative. I have not put any race gas in the car yet. It has not even been to the track. This setup is built for close if not slightly over
500 hp. Even with the lofty power goals I had in mind, it hits full boost at 3900 rpm and holds power till over 8000. I set the rev limiter to 7800 for good measure however. Thanks for all the positive feedback. And 25000 might be alot for a Miata, but a setup like this drivetrain alone with turbo and ecu would cost more than that. Keep in mind that it has less than 2000 miles on complete vehicle rebuild.
