    Default Deep Ellum Breakfast & Photo Shoot 10/21/06




    Please join us for an MME & Friends Breakfast in Deep Ellum the morning of Saturday, October 21 at the Allgood Cafe.

    We will meet up at 9:00a for a hearty breakfast and follow that with a photo shoot in and around Deep Ellum. Now's a great time to spit shine the Miata (or Honda, or Cadillac) and head over see some of your East Side buds.

    This anonymous review sums it up...

    This is my new favorite restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I especially love the breaksfasts. The coffee is WONDERFUL. The pancakes are the best I've ever eaten. The thick peppered bacon is great!. I also prefer the #2 breakfast because it has a little of everything I love. The one thing they don't have is french fries which to me is a detriment, but their rosemary potatoes and mashed potatoes are great. The atmosphere is eclectic. No one drinks out of the same size, shape or color coffee mugs. They advertise Kinkey Friedman for governor. When the weather is nice there is a covered outdoor room that is pleasant to sit, eat and people watch in. Give it a try. You'll really like it. Very reasonably priced.

    Probably would have generated a lot more interest if that were the case. Deep Ellum on a Saturday morning should be great for a photoshoot. I took the picture below on a Saturday afternoon when there were too many people around to get in front of the really good murals, but Saturday morning should be great.
