95 still has loop pile but the ECU is located behing the passenger seat vs. in the passenger foot well. This makes the shape of the carpet ever so slightly different but should work.
I think it was 96 that they switched to the cheesier cut pile.
The bigger issue Timmy is replacing the carpet. To do it right requires pulling the dash and heater box. Ask me how I know. Not as hard as it seems but it is involved.
Some people opt to just cut the carpet and tuck it around the transmission hump.
hmm, i didn't think about that, you have to remove the dash to get the carpet from under the stereo part right? It won't slide out if you pull it sideways?
